Full City + roast (dark). Intense flavor with tangy fruit, chocolate and clove notes. Excellent body and rich acidity. Guatemala produces some of the worlds most uniquely flavored coffees. Huehuetenango (pronounced way-way-te-non-go) and abbreviated (HHT) is a city and state in the western part of the country and lies in the most rugged and remote area in Guatemala with coffee cultivated at high altitudes on very steep terrain. Thanks to the dry, hot winds that blow into the mountains from Mexico, the region is protected from frost allowing coffee to be cultivated up to 6,500 ft. We roast this high grown complex coffee for maximum sweetness and body. It brews up excellent in a press pot and is perfect in the evening or a true eye opener in the a.m. An exceptionally solid cup of coffee.
