Ethiopia Harar  - $13.50 /LB.
Full city roast (dark). Full body, unique, wild and spicy. Coffee lovers favor Ethiopia for its truly unique flavor. A favorite among Fiddleheads employees; it’s sweet as honey and rich with distinct blueberry notes. You’ll also enjoy undertones of wild strawberry, cranberry and clove. From the birthplace of coffee, the Harar region of Ethiopia produces highly sought after coffee with a distinctive wild flavor and bold body. Harars get most of its flavor characteristics by dry processing. This method is when the fruit is left to dry on the bean resulting in a wild, deep fruit flavor. It's the Bordeaux of the coffee world. If you think all coffees taste the same; take one taste of this unforgettable gem! Not certified, but all coffee grown in the area is grown organically by tradition. One out of five Ethiopians depend on the coffee industry for their living. Coffee also holds a special place in Ethiopian culture. The majority of the crop doesn't even leave the country and is drunk in ceremony by the Ethiopian people.
