Full body. This new harvest of fair trade, organic Sumatra Aceh is grown in the beautiful volcanic mountains surrounding Lake Tawar and the town of Takengonon on the northwest tip of Sumatra. It is grown in the shade without chemicals and is one of the world's truly exotic coffees. Sumatra Aceh is known for its rich, full body and hints of earthiness. This particular crop has fantastic aromatics of cedar, smoky pepper and spice. The cup finishes with a rustic sweetness and dark chocolate notes. We roast this Sumatra a little longer to add a dark french roast so that it is smoky but not burnt and glistening with natural oils. Our french roast Sumatra is great for after diner as a wonderful accompaniment to rich desserts.
