Full city roast (medium). This heavy bodied coffee makes for a clean cup with lemon, vanilla, and slight floral notes. We are proud to offer this beautiful, high grown coffee with a sweet, rich and silky mouth feel. Purchased directly from the farm of Montes y Colinas, this is one of the oldest, family-owned, private coffee estates in Colombia. This small family farm is located in the Andes Mountains. Owned by Ernesto Garces and family, they employ, house, school, and pay over 461 employees year round. The high altitude of the estate makes the climate excellent for coffee production. The soil has excellent physical properties for coffee growing, like a high presence of volcanic ash, high resistance to erosion, good humidity and acidity. These attributes make this "direct from farm to cup" coffee truly special.
