Full city roast (medium to dark) full body. We’re proud to offer this estate grown, organic coffee from the high lands of Peru. This hearty, well-balanced cup offers sweetness and a pronounced and pleasing sparkle. It’s roasted to the lighter side of “dark” to enhance the sweet, nutty undertones while retaining the brightness on your tongue. It’s richness and syrupy body make it a perfect all around coffee suitable for anytime of the day. Some flavor notes to look for are toasted almonds, sweet apple and dark chocolate. Home to the ancient Inca Empire, Peru is a land of contrasts and history. Although relatively new to coffee cultivation, areas of Northern Peru provide ideal growing conditions with year round high temperatures and abundant rainfall October through March. Because Peru has such a variation of altitude, the result is a wide range of coffee quality. That is why we’re so excited to offer this rare find of truly exceptional Peruvian coffee. After one try, we think you’ll agree.
